Eurovanille small morels are sold dried. The morel mushroom is as tasty dried as it is fresh. Its flavour and aromatic qualities are not altered by the drying process. Our morels are not smoked to ensure that their aroma remains intact. These small morels come from the same batches as the larger morels available from Eurovanille but they are cheaper and can be used in a variety of sauces and dishes.
Instructions: soak the morels in warm water for ten minutes to rehydrate. Split the larger morels in two to remove any sand that may be inside. We recommend adding morels 10 minutes before the end of the cooking time to ensure they retain their shape and consistency whilst developing full flavour.
Eurovanille sells only morel caps (not stalks).
